Communications Awards

Electric
co-op communicators in Kentucky gathered more than a dozen awards
from the National Rural Electric Cooperative Associations Council
of Rural Electric Communicators Spotlight on Excellence awards. Kentucky
Living magazine received the award of excellence, the top award,
in the Best Newspaper/Magazine category, and also for Best
Desktop Publishing Design. And the Kentucky Association of
Electric Cooperatives also won an award of merit for Best
Audio/Visual Communications Videotape/Film, for a 30-second
promotional video done for Clark Energy Cooperative.

seven awards from the Cooperative Communicators Association, a group
representing public relations and information employees at
cooperative businesses in the U.S. and Canada. The awards were
announced at the organizations annual Institute in Omaha July 18:
