Launches New Web Site 04/01/2000
Members of West Kentucky RECC can now access information about their power provider on the World Wide Web.
Ron Mays, office manager of the Mayfield-based electric cooperative, announced the launch of the utility's new web site on March 30. "The people of our service region, our country, and, indeed, our entire world are turning in great number to the Internet as an important source for information," Mays said. "We plan to meet them there."
The web site, located at www.wkrecc.com, features timely news about WKRECC and the communities it serves. Other content includes basic company details and information on the many products and services offered by WKRECC.
"The site should prove to be a valuable resource for our members," said Mike Alderdice, WKRECC general manager. "They can access the site from anywhere at anytime - at their convenience - to find the information they need from their power provider."
Mays stressed the web site is designed to enhance, not replace, the high level of service members already receive from customer service specialists. Mays added, "The web site is another means toward consistently improving the level of service our members have come to expect from
WKRECC."
