Nine Kentucky Electric Co-ops Praised for Reaching Safety Milestones

Nine of Kentucky's 24 electric cooperatives were presented with awards from the Kentucky Association of Electric Cooperatives for completing 12 months of work with no lost time accidents.

The awards were presented to representatives of the co-ops at the May and July KAEC board meetings by KAEC's Clarence Greene, director of safety and loss prevention.

"I'm really proud of these co-ops," says Greene. "The boards, managers, and employees of these systems have dedicated a lot of time and effort to creating and maintaining safe working environments."
