New KAEC Board Officers Seated

The KAEC board of directors made history at its January 2010 meeting with the installation of three new officers – including Carol Hall Fraley, the first female board officer in KAEC’s 67-year history.

	Eston Glover, president and CEO of Hopkinsville-based Pennyrile Electric Cooperative, was elevated from vice chairman to chairman. Glover’s electric cooperative experience includes 29 years of work with Pennyrile Electric in the positions of board member, department head, and president and CEO. He also is a former chairman of the Tennessee Valley Public Power Association.
	Tommy Hill, a director of West Liberty-based Licking Valley RECC, moved from secretary-treasurer to vice chairman. Hill’s electric co-op experience includes 10 years as a Licking Valley board member and five years as a KAEC board member. He also holds the Credentialed Cooperative Director certification from NRECA.
	Carol Hall Fraley, president and CEO of Grayson-based Grayson RECC, took office as secretary-treasurer. Fraley’s electric co-op experience includes 30 years of employment at Grayson including 15 years as a department head and 15 years as president/CEO. She is also a graduate of the NRECA Management Internship Program.
