Kentucky PSC Names New Executive Director

Elizabeth O'Donnell, an attorney with extensive experience in the complex field of utility regulation, has been named Executive Director of the Kentucky Public Service Commission (PSC). O'Donnell grew up in Lexington and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and a Master of Arts degree in Political Sociology from the University of Kentucky. She hold a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law. After completing law school, O'Donnell served as an Administrative Law Judge at the Missouri Public Service Commission (MPSC) for eight years. Following her service at the MPSC, O'Donnell worked as a senior attorney for the Illinois Power Company, representing what was then that state's second largest gas and electric utility before the Illinois Commerce Commission."
