SKRECC's Eddie Black Receives NUTSEA Award

South Kentucky RECC Safety and Training Team Leader Eddie Black has been awarded the National Utility Training and Safety Education Association’s (NUTSEA) prestigious Ray Pantel Award. The presentation was made at the 2006 Conference in Oklahoma City.

This award recognizes meritorious service to the late Ray Pantel and all those who give of themselves to the safety of their fellow workers and friends. The first Ray Pantel Award was given in 1989.

Eddie Black has worked for South Kentucky RECC since 1976 and took over as the Safety director in 2000. Black is the first person in Kentucky to receive this award.
